Essentia presents major grant award

The long-awaited ski season is officially in full swing at Chester Bowl. A deep snowpack is more than enough to bring folks out to the hill in December. This year our Opening Day celebration also included a major gift from our friends at Essentia Health. Members of their staff and their families presented us with a $25,000 grant award before the first lifts went up the hill!

Their generous support will impact local families for generations to come.

Essentia Health is a consistent supporter of the Chester Bowl community. This grant award is received in addition to a similar $20,000 grant in 2019 and an $18,500 grant in 2016. Those grants helped Chester Bowl Improvement Club launch our snowboard rental program.
