The Growing Up Chester capital campaign leadership team, in conjunction with the Chester Bowl Improvement Club board of directors, announces the selection of LHB as the architect for the Thom Storm Chalet renovation.
LHB facilitated a series of public meetings in fall 2015 and developed a concept drawing of the exterior and layout of the renovated chalet in January, 2016.
“We are very pleased with our selection,” said Deb Kellner, capital campaign building design chair. “We had such a positive experience with LHB during the concept phase, and are looking forward to continue our partnership with LHB on this important community project.”
“We received proposals from several firms, and while it was clear that they all had the capability of doing a fine job on the Thom Storm Chalet, the passion LHB has shown for this project and their enthusiasm to see their vision through to completion was impressive and inspiring. They have been great to work with thus far, and we expect a similarly successful partnership moving forward,” said Dave Schaeffer, executive director of the Chester Bowl Improvement Club.
LHB is now proceeding with developing the schematic design of the renovated Thom Storm Chalet. The schematic design drafts are slated to be ready by mid-July.
